- In order not to overburden everyone, there will not be another
mandatory individual problem set this semester. However,
some or all of the following
problems on linear systems with constant coefficients and analysis
of critical points via eigenvalues and eigenvectors may be turned in
at
any point before 5:00pm on Friday, December 1 for extra credit
on the individual problem set component of your course grade:
Section 9.4/9, 19, 21, 23; Section 9.5/11, 13, 17; Section 9.6/1,3;
Section 12.2/1,5; Section 12.3/9. Note: You will
be expected to be able to solve questions like this for the
final exam.
- Lab 4 -- Due: no later than 5:00pm
on Tuesday, December 5.

- The Final Exam for this course will be given at 2:30pm on
Thursday, December 14. Here are the review sheets for the two
in-class midterms and the final:

- Review session for final: Tuesday, December 12, 7-9 pm, in SW 328.
- Because of a medical emergency in my family, I will not be
on campus between noon Monday, December 4 and the end of the
day on Wednesday, December 6. At this point, I plan to return
and be here all day Thursday, December 7 and thereafter during
exam week. Please consult
with the Mathematics/CS department Chair, Prof. Cecil, if you
urgently need to contact me.
- My office hours this semester will be:
