The exam will be held on Friday, May 11, from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, in Swords 321.

Plan to arrive a few minutes early to allow time to distribute the exams.

Cell-phones should be turned OFF for the duration of the exam.

You may use a non-graphing, scientific calculator during the exam. No other calculator or electronic device may be used during the exam.

This is a closed-book exam. No books or notes may be used during the exam.

You will be expected to show all of your work. A correct answer with insufficient justification
may not receive full credit.

In addition, the final will cover the following topics.

Power Series. (10.6) Know how to find the interval of convergence of a power series. Also, be able to use substitution and term-by-term differentiation and integration to obtain new power series expansions from a given power series expansion.

Taylor Polynomials and Taylor Series. (8.4, 10.7) Know how to find the Taylor polynomial and Taylor series of a given function. Know how to use the Taylor polynomial error bound (Theorem 2 in 8.4). Know the Maclaurin series for ex, sin(x), cos(x) and 1/(1-x).

Differential Equations. (9.1, 9.2) Know how to find the general solution of a separable differential equation, and use initial conditions to determine particular solutions.
