Quiz 9

The ninth (and last!) regular quiz of the semester will be given during
the first 20 minutes of class on
Friday, April 19. It will cover the material on differential equations,
solutions, and slope fields from sections 11.1 and 11.2
Calculators will be allowed on this quiz. You should
know:
- How to check whether a given function is a solution
of a differential equation, given the differential equation and the
formula for the function.
- How to derive qualitative information about solutions
from the slope field of the differential equation.
- Be prepared to sketch a simple slope field (one like the
example we did at the start of the class on Tuesday -- not
like the more complicated ones we saw using Maple.)
On the quiz, there will be three problems similar to questions
from this week's discussion and problem assignment.
