Problem Set 8 Grading Instructions: 

Section 11.1/

    3 -- 2 points (one for each side of equation)
    4 -- 2 points (like 3)
    6 -- 2 points
   14 -- 6 points (2 for each side of equation in part a, 2 for b)
   16 -- 12 points (2 for each part, except 4 for d since two functions)
   
Section 11.2/

    4 -- 4 points (2 for correct answer, 2 for explanation)
    6 -- 16 points (6 for a, 6 for b, 4 for c.  Note: they 
                    will need to use the differential equation
                    to determine the scale on the y-axis, by
                    locating the zero-slope lines at y = -1, y = 2)
    8 -- 5 points (one each part)
    
Section 11.3/

    4 -- 16 points (10 for a -- 2 for each step, 4 for b, 2 for c)
    6 -- 36 points (20 for a; 12 for b -- 2 for y = ln(t), and 1 for 
                    each value; 4 for c)
