Note: Schedule and Topics Subject to Change

You will be notified by email of the details regarding your particular topic or problem. You are welcome (and encouraged) to speak with me beforehand about your presentation. All presentations should be 5-10 minutes in length and done using the chalkboard (no powerpoint slides) so that students can take notes in order to better absorb the material.

Some Tips for Giving a Good Presentation:

  1. Speak clearly, slowly and loud enough to reach the back of the room.

  2. Make eye contact with your audience and engage them whenever possible.

  3. Be organized and make effective use of the board. It's certainly fine to have notes with you as you write on the board, but be sure you understand the material thoroughly before you present.

  4. Practice your presentation beforehand! Try it out on a few classmates.
Note: Here is the Grading Rubric I will be using to assign a grade for your presentation.
