'Twas the night before Principles and all through the 'scape
not a creature was stirring (except for pub safe)

we wandered new halls and turned on the light
we made hot chocolate and gave some frosh a fright

in this we made such a clatter
that pub safe came to see what was the matter

in our attempts to learn all the proofs
we wondered why we can't take the test in groups

after studying for 20 hours and up -- no joke --
we sadly realized our only chance was with luck
