Calculus for Phys./Life Sciences 2

Exam #1

Thursday, Feb. 23, 6:00 - 7:30 pm

HABERLIN 238

The first exam covers the Chapter 5 review, Chapter 6 and Sections 7.1 - 7.4. You should go over the homework problems as well as your class notes. Many of the problems and questions we discussed in class are excellent examples of test questions. I have also listed some sample problems from the Chapter 5, 6 and 7 Reviews as well as the Check Your Understanding sections for those chapters below. The answers to the odd problems are in the back of the book while answers to even numbered problems are provided. Be sure you have a solid understanding of both the 1st and 2nd Fundamental Theorems of Calculus!

Note: You will be given a scientific calculator for the exam which does NOT have graphing capabilities so be prepared to answer questions without your personal calculator.
