The following are intended to help stimulate our discussion about part 1 of Sherry Turkle's book:

    1. Choose a descriptive passage or section in part 1 of Sherry Turkle's book that you found particularly interesting or evocative.

    2. Write a paragraph about what the passage means in terms of how we interact with sociable robots and what it could mean with respect to our interactions with each other. If you can, relate it to the readings from Miller.

    3. Be prepared to talk about the passage you chose.
