Deirdre's Love for California

MY LOVE FOR CALIFORNIA "And I know when I die, I shall breathe my last sigh for my sunny California"

My name is Deirdre Shepard and I am a sophomore at Holy Cross.

I am from the greatest state in the union. Here is a photo from one of my favorite places in my home county, Marin.

Marin is located just north of San Francisco.

Angel Island
Golden Gate Bridge
Rodeo Beach
Stinson Beach
Cataract Falls
Ring Mountain

Other people think that their home states are better than California. These people are wrong. The world began on October 22, 1948, when In-N-Out Burger was opened in Baldwin Park, CA.

I was lucky enough to work at In-N-Out for a year and a half. I rocked the uniform.

Other people were not fortunate enough to go on gold mining field trips. I pity those people. Here I am pictured with three friends on my fourth grade gold mining field trip.
