The final will be on Friday, December 18, 8:30-11:30 am, in Stein 202. There will be a review session on Wednesday, December 16, from 7-9 pm in Swords 359 (the usual classroom). I will also have office hours on Thursday, December 17 from 3:30-5:00 pm.
You will be allowed to have one side of one 8.5 by 11 sheet of notes for the exam. All sheets must be handwritten. The only thing you can't write on your note sheet is the proof of one of the theorems on the list accompanying the practice exam (posted below). Otherwise, you can write anything you like on the sheet -- formulas, examples, mnemonics, funny sayings, etc. No magnifying devices allowed. I will collect your note sheets at the end of the exam. For those who would like to decorate their sheets or otherwise artistically arrange them: I will post the best ones (as subjectively determined by me) on the course website after the exam.
