Textbook: Calculus: concepts and contexts, 4th edition, by James Stewart. The text is available at the Holy Cross bookstore in a special soft-cover edition (for a significant discount versus the hard-cover edition). If you buy the book at the bookstore, be sure to get the stand-alone version of the book -- not the version bundled with WebAssign (which we will not use in this course). The ISBN for the stand-alone book is 1111006113.

Exam information:
The second midterm is next Thursday, November 19 in class. It will cover Chapter 3 and Section 4.1
There will be a review session on Wednesday, November 18, from 7:00-8:30 pm, in Stein 120.
To begin reviewing for the exam, here are some problems to work on:
