My father began his model train extravaganza in the Fall of 1997. It is an incredibly
elaborate and involved project taking up an entire attic room with another room
being used as a studio. The setting for the model is Germany or Austria in the 1950's
and features include a small village, a city, industries, several bridges, a tram,
and thousands of ordinary people.
