Calculus for Phys./Life Sciences 2

Exam #3

Tuesday, April 15, 5:30 - 7:00 pm

The third exam covers Sections 8.3, 8.4, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3. You should go over the homework problems as well as your class notes. Many of the problems and questions we discussed in class are excellent examples of test questions. I have also listed some sample problems from the Chapter 8, 9 and 10 Reviews and "Check Your Understanding" below. The exam will be designed to take an hour although you will have the full 90 minutes.

Note: You will be given a scientific calculator for the exam which does NOT have graphing capabilities so be prepared to answer questions without your personal calculator.

Exam Review: We will review for the exam in Monday's class, April 14th. Please come prepared with specific questions. We WILL have our regular class on the day of the exam but we will NOT have the regularly scheduled class the day after the exam.
