The second quiz covers Sections 7.3, 7.4, 8.1 and 8.2. You should go over homework problems and class notes. Some sample problems are listed below. The quiz will be designed for 20-25 minutes in length. Be sure to bring your CALCULATOR.

Chapter 7 review, pp. 594-595
Problems:   15, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 28

The answers to the odd problems are in the back of the book. The answer to #16 is 1/3. The answer to #28 is 274,000 square feet using the Trapezoid Rule and 278,667 sq. ft. using Simpson's Rule.

Chapter 8 review, pp. 687-689
Problems:   1, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 17, 21, 23, 27

The answer to #6 is all points (x,y) in the plane such that x is less than or equal to 1, y is greater than or equal to 0. The level curves for #10 are circles centered at the origin with radii 0,1,2,3,4 respectively.
