Grading Policy
Two tests     - 25% for your highest test score, 15% for your lowest test score
Final exam   - 30%
Homework   - 30%

The tests are tentatively scheduled for Wed. Oct. 5 and Wed. Nov. 9. If you have a conflict with the test times, please let me know well in advance so that alternate arrangements can be made.

The final exam is scheduled for Thursday Dec.15 at 2:30 PM and it is cumulative. Do NOT make travel plans before this date.

There will be ten homework assignments due each Wednesday (except for the test days) at the beginning of class. The assignments will be posted on the web site of the course. NO late assignments will be accepted without a serious documented reason. Should this happen, you need to contact me before the homework is due.

Attendance
Attendance is important to me and could make a difference in the grade in border line cases.

Academic Honesty
You can work together on homework assignments. However, the work you turn in must represent your own thoughts and be in your own words. Please do not allow others to copy your homework. There is no collaboration allowed on tests and the final exam.
