● The exam is cumulative. It covers everything we studied this semester: the material covered by the three midterms and sections 8.6 (representing functions as power series) and 8.7 (Taylor and MacLaurin series).
● The exam will be designed to take two hours but you will have three hours to finish your work.
● You may bring to the exam one half of a 8.5 in x 11 in sheet of paper written on both sides (total written area = 93.5 in2). Write your name on the upper right corner of this paper and hand it in with the exam.
● You will be given a TI-30 scientific calculator for the exam which does NOT have graphing capabilities so be prepared to answer questions without your personal calculator. If you have a TI-30 scientific calculator, please bring it to the exam.
● Cell phones and I-pods are not allowed during the exam. Please leave them in your room or put them away in your backpack (make sure cell phones are turned off).
● You should go over the homework problems, midterms, practice midterms as well as your class notes. Many of the problems and questions we discuss in class are excellent examples of test questions. Below are some suggested review problems from the Chapter 8 Review and sections 8.6 and 8.7.
