Because development has essentially stopped... :)

There are a few small bugs in the scripts and Makefile, which will get
fixed one of these days. If anyone's interested in further coding, the
sources are available by CVS from savannah. I still haven't uploaded any
"TNG" (Version 2.x) code, but do plan to after the semester is over (in
about six weeks).
