New release (v0.8.7a)

Just a couple of tweaks:
* The scripts (epix, elaps, laps) now have more uniform help and version
  information built in.
* epix and elaps accept input files with extension ".cpp"

Two small bugs (a minor install error on non-GNU systems, and clumsy exit
by epix when no input file is specified) are also fixed.

Sorry for the appendix to a "stable" release...
